Chrysler Service FAQ

February 9th, 2022 by

The best way to keep your vehicle in top shape and ensure that it runs smoothly for years to come is by getting it serviced regularly at our Chrysler service center. Our mechanics understand that knowing how to properly take care of a car is a tall task for drivers who are unfamiliar with the operation of a vehicle. This is why we have gathered and answered some of the most commonly asked questions about Chrysler service.

How Often Do I Need to Get an Oil Change?

In order to keep your Chrysler car running smoothly, most mechanics agree that oil changes are necessary every 3,000 to 7,000 miles or every six months. However, if you want a more precise number, it is advisable to check your vehicle’s owner’s manual, which will provide specific advice.

Do I Need to Use OEM Parts?

When getting service, you’ll have the option of using aftermarket parts or OEM Chrysler parts. OEM parts are preferred (and we only use them at our dealership) for the following reasons:

  • Designed to fit in your make and model
  • Longer-lasting
  • Higher-quality

How Often Should Fluid Levels Be Checked?

Your car relies on a number of different fluids to run effectively. This includes transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, and power-steering fluid. Our mechanics will check these fluids around the same time that we check your engine oil.

How Often Should I Replace the Battery?

Like many car parts, batteries do not last forever. The standard car battery is projected to last three to five years, but variables like hot and cold weather can decrease longevity.
