President Scott Shulman has been the proud leader of Best since 1986 when he took over for his father, Nat, who founded the business in 1957. He runs the company with a few simple rules: provide quality service, implement quality business practices, and exceed expectations.
“The most rewarding part of my job is the satisfaction of knowing that, through a combination of support, encouragement and positive attitude, we have created an environment where employees are happy and continue to grow,” Scott says.
An accomplished athlete, Scott extensively supports local organizations, including community sports. He is also a major supporter of healthcare in the area, and is particularly proud of funding the mobile educational and training resource for EMS and fire personnel. Additionally Scott has supported the Hingham Recreation Department, which provides affordable childcare, athletics programs, senior citizens programs, and summer camps.
